Your responsibilities
- Engage in the deployment of the company’s Data Catalog, ensuring complete support across various data domains, including data definitions, storage, lineage, and usage.
- Guide and motivate data domain owners and stewards to contribute to and maintain the data catalog.
- Facilitate workshops to ensure alignment and validation of definitions across different data domains.
- Collaborate with application owners and data stewards to gather and link data sources with the data glossary.
- Create and enforce metadata management policies.
- Assist in integrating data product documentation into the data catalog.
- Act as the main point of contact for all processes related to the data catalog.
- Contribute to gamifying the data catalog to increase user engagement.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track the implementation progress of the data catalog.
Skills and qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data classification.
- Expertise in using data catalog tools like Altan, Collibra, among others.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proven ability to foster relationships with business stakeholders and external partners.
