Job purpose
Acuity Knowledge Partners is looking for an experienced candidate, based in Germany, who can sell AI enabled solutions to Corporate and Investment Banks as well as Commercial Banks in the DACH region. You must possess a strong hunting and sales acumen with a good track record of originating, qualifying and closing deals. Prior experience of working in a Front Office role for a financial institution is highly desirable. It is important you have excellent English and German communication skills and are comfortable operating in a multi-cultural and diverse environment. The role will be based in our offices in Munich or Darmstadt (with WFH opportunity), with extensive travelling in Germany to build client relationships. To be successful in this role you should have good knowledge of the financial services landscape (commercial banks, private banks, investment banks asset management, insurance or other FI background is preferrable), be a sales originator and develop strong client relationships. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and strong negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to build and establish long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities
Run high quality Enterprise sales cycles focusing on new logo financial institutionsin the DACH region: Identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients Leveraging existing client relationships and networks to generate commercial interest Qualification and generating demand from clients and prospects Creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs, negotiating and Closing complex agreements Assigned quota to be attained through opening new doors in existing book and focus on new logo hunting and cross-selling of services such as: Insights & Analytics - AI-led Output-based managed services in for front and middle office of financial institutions AI, Data & Digital: Custom made solutions to create efficiencies and streamline automation Negotiate at the MD/C- level to build a broad vision of automation and associated benefits Work closely with domain specialists as well as technology experts to deliver best-in-class solution for the client Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline information to management Meet established Sales targets, ensure contract renewal and price increases and anticipate and prevent any client attrition
Key competencies
Bachelors’ degree (or equivalent) from a leading university Experience of working in the front office financial institution Ability to source, identify and develop new business opportunities Ability to /solution for clients’ challenges and ability to engage with senior business stakeholders Ability to influence key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience Experience in leading sales efforts, proposal development and closing deals Strong communication skills, both oral and written Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business application
