About the role
Acuity KnowledgePartners is seeking an experienced sales professional based in Germany to drive the growth of its AI, Data, and Digital services across Financial Services clients in the DACH region.
This role is suited for a strong sales hunter with a proven track record of originating, qualifying, and closing complex consulting and technology-led deals. Prior experience selling into German or broader European banks, asset managers, and private markets organisations is highly preferred.
To be successful in this position, you will bring deep knowledge of the German financial services landscape, along with exceptional relationship-building capabilities. You will be expected to engage senior stakeholders, understand complex client needs, and translate them into high-value AI, data, and digital solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation and negotiation abilities, are essential. The role also requires the capacity to build long-term partnerships with both clients and internal teams.

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles for AI, Data, and Digital services across German Financial Services clients, including Corporate & Investment Banks, Sparkassen, Volksbanken, Landesbanken, Advisory Boutiques, Research Brokers, Private Equity funds, VC funds, Consulting firms, Asset & Wealth Managers, Private Banks and other financial services firms.
- Proactively identify, develop, and initiate new sales opportunities through targeted prospecting, market engagement, and relationship building.
- Sell consultative, solution-led offerings across:
- AI Services
- Data Platforms & Advanced Analytics
- Digital Engineering
- Cloud & Infrastructure Services
- Business Application Services
- Generate and qualify demand by deeply understanding client challenges and aligning Acuity’s capabilities to clear business outcomes.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers and Account Executives to support both new logo acquisition and expansion within existing client accounts.
- Develop high-quality proposals, presentations, and tailored value propositions for senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise agreements.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reporting to ensure transparency and predictability of revenue.
- Collaborate with global delivery teams, subject matter experts, and pre-sales specialists to ensure strong client coverage and solution alignment.
- Contribute actively to the execution of Acuity’s refreshed DACH growth strategy for AI, Data, and Digital services.
- Act as a potential player/coach, with the opportunity to lead, mentor, and scale additional AD&D sales resources across Austria and Switzerland as the DACH business grows.
- Travel within Germany and the wider DACH region as required.
Skills & Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development or Consulting Sales
- Proven experience selling technology consulting, AI, data or digital services into Financial Services clients
- Strong background in tech consulting environments with exposure to complex, enterprise sales cycles
- Demonstrated success selling into banks, asset managers, insurers or private market organisations
- Hunter mindset with a strong drive for new business development in mid-market to enterprise organisations
- Excellent presentation skills with experience in proposal creation and solution design
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with account teams while operating as a senior individual contributor
- University degree preferred but not essential
- Language requirements: German and very strong English (written and spoken)
